2010 ICBA Queen - Dustie Tibboel
Dustie
Tiboel is the sixteen-year-old daughter of Tracy and Dannis Tibboel.
Dustie and her family live just east of Pleasantville, Iowa on a
farm that has around 100 head of Charolais and Charolais-cross
cattle, known as Triple T Farms.
Dustie is a sophomore at Pleasantville High School. She is a member
of the Pleasantville FFA Chapter, which has given her leadership
opportunities and experience she never thought she would possess.
After enjoying the responsibility of Union 4-H Club Secretary for
the past two years, she was happy to be elected Vice President. She
is also Vice President of her high school class. She is also proud
to represent the Charolais breed on the Iowa Junior Beef Breed
Association for the past two years and as photographer for the Iowa
Junior Charolais Association.
Dustie is the proud owner of a 12 head Charolais/ Charolais-cross
herd. Dustie says, “I have grown up around cattle all of my life and
has many experiences in the cattle industry. If I’m showing cattle
or just doing the everyday chores like feeding, watering, washing,
or vaccinating, I am always happy and content around the cattle.”
Many of Dustie’s memories and friends have been gained through the
Charolais industry. Charolais have always been and will always be a
part of Dustie’s life. She is honored to be named the 2010 Iowa
Charolais Queen.
