A great opportunity coming to Des Moines. The Iowa Junior Charolais Association is hosting the 2008 Junior National Show and Leadership Conference at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, June 22-27.

We are expecting 400 plus contestants, ranging in age from 8 to 21 years. Accompanying the contestants will be 250 plus adults. We’re expecting 500 plus head of cattle from 35 plus states to be exhibited.
 

The activities for the week will consist of the following:
 
  • Team building & leadership workshops
  • Communication workshops
  • Educational seminars and displays
  • Recreation and social activities
  • Charolais Shows – Percentage Heifers
    and Steers
